Gates - The egress/access gates are computer controlled. Entry may be gained in three ways.

• Remote buttons that control the entrance vehicle gate are available for property owners.

• Persons wishing to gain entry may use the access control box outside the gate, by scrolling to a name [if owner opts to have their name in the database] and pressing the call button that rings the owner’s phone. Upon answering, the owner may interrogate the caller and choose to allow entry or not by pressing ‘9’ on their phone prior to hanging up.

• Pedestrian gates are situated on either side of the vehicle gates and are secured with a lock. For security purposes, please contact a Board member for pedestrian gate codes.

Emergency Operation: If the neighborhood area experiences a power outage the EXIT gate will automatically open by battery power, allowing vehicles to temporarily share that gate for egress/access until power is restored. Should this fail to operate, contact a Board member ASAP.

Remotes: Gate fobs that operate the entrance gate can be procured from Sonny Gay. See the COL Directory for email address and phone number. As of June 2024, the cost of the gate fobs is $60.00 each.
